Course 71:

MOTION FUNDAMENTALS

HOURS: 3.5

DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to provide a basic review of the four basic motion control technologies.  This basic knowledge is required in order to assist the customer in selecting the appropriate technology for a specific application.  An overview of transfer functions helps the salesperson work with the customer and design engineers.  It includes a review of the building blocks in each technology, environmental considerations and concludes with a review of life cycle cost for each technology.  This course is designed specifically for the Certified Technical Sales Specialist Program.  It is intended for individuals in sales, including manufacturer's representatives, and distributors working in motion control.
